Ho’oponopono

Here in western cultures we are inoculated with the concept of ‘go out and do something’ to fix difficulties in the world. Such heroic adventures are appropriate in their time and place, but not available to all. The ancient Polynesian principle of Ho’oponopono however, is available to anyone at any time.

Ho’oponopono is the opposite of ‘go out and do’ in that it means ‘go in and see’.

Under the heading of “We Are All One” whatever difficulty you see beyond yourself is also within you somehow. Looking to find it, no matter how trivial, then releasing it will improve the world by exactly that much, and much more as time goes on.

And don’t forget to celebrate the beauty you find too.
